Have you ever been in the room when hundreds of strangers fall in love with an artist they'd never heard of before? If you've attended a Live Wire show, we know that you have. It's pure magic. In addition to magic, it's also the product of hours of research, months of conversations, and often significant travel costs.
As travel costs continue to rise, we need your support to launch our new Artist Amplifier Opportunity! This fund will allow us to continue bringing world-class creative talent to the Live Wire stage, with a focus on amplifying underrepresented voices you won't hear anywhere else in Portland or on public radio.
In 2025, we'll be welcoming over 60 extraordinary artists and we're inviting you, our most passionate culture champions, to become an Artist Amplifier and help cover the costs.
For each of our 18 shows planned for 2025, we're seeking an Artist Amplifier to contribute a $2000 tax-deductible donation. This will help fund travel expenses for these vital voices.

10 tickets to share the show with friends and family
Recognition from the stage as that evening's honored Amplifier
