A prolific creator, Nora wrote the critically-acclaimed memoir It’s Okay to Laugh (Crying is Cool Too), hosts the award-winning podcast Terrible, Thanks for Asking, founded the non-profit organization Still Kickin and writes essays published in Elle, Cosmopolitan, Time, Slate and Vox. The poetry collection was also a finalist for the 2015 National Book Critics Circle Award, as well as awards from Lambda Literary and the Publishing Triangle in 2015.
