Jeannette Ward Horton wants the cannabis industry to turn over a new leaf. She’s the co-founder of NuLeaf project, an initiative to build intergenerational wealth in the communities most harmed by the war on drugs through the taxes and profits of the legal cannabis industry. NuLeaf works to increase the number of successful cannabis businesses in Portland owned by people of color through both funding and business coaching. Ward Horton also serves as Vice President of Global Marketing and Communication for Akerna, the world’s largest cannabis technology company and the first listed on a major US exchange. Prior to Akerna, she spent 15 years leading communications, marketing, and change management for companies, including The Coca-Cola Company, The Home Depot, and UPS. Pure Bathing Culture's newest album, "Night Pass," functions as an invocation of all that is unique and beautiful about their sound. The musical identity of Portland's Sarah Versprille and Daniel Hindman, Pure Bathing Culture makes music that is both instantly identifiable yet utterly personal.
