Mikki Kendall is a writer, activist, cultural critic, Army veteran, and diversity consultant from Chicago, IL. She is the author of the New York Times-bestselling Hood Feminism (Viking Press, 2020), which examines the shortcomings of mainstream feminism, and is also the writer of Amazons, Abolitionists, and Activists (Ten Speed Press, 2019), a graphic narrative illustrated by A. D’Amico. A prominent member of Black Twitter, Kendall originated the hashtags #SolidarityIsForWhiteWomen, #FastTailedGirls, and #FoodGentrification. Jamie Loftus is a comedian, writer, podcast host, and Emmy-nominated TV writer from Boston, MA. Currently based in Los Angeles, Loftus has recently finished her work on Lolita Podcast, a documentary series about Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov that has been recommended by the New York Times, IndieWire, Vulture, and more. She is also the creator of the podcast My Year in Mensa, as well as the one-woman shows I Lost My Virginity on August 15, 2010 and Boss, Whom is Girl. Pink Martini is a band from Portland, OR. Founded in 1994 by Thomas Lauderdale, this “little orchestra” has sold over 3 million albums worldwide through their independent label, Heinz Records. Pink Martini features a dozen musicians, including China Forbes, Storm Large, and Jimmie Herrod, and has performed internationally with over 70 orchestras, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Sydney Symphony, and the BBC Concert Orchestra.
