Ashley C. Ford is a writer, podcaster, and educator. She is host of the Brooklyn-based news and culture TV show 112BK and a co-host of HBO companion podcast Lovecraft Country Radio. Ford has written or guest-edited for The New York Times, ELLE, Slate, and Teen Vogue, among other web and print publications, and has taught creative nonfiction writing at The New School and Catapult.Co. In 2017, she was named one of Forbes’s “30 Under 30 in Media”. Ford’s memoir, Somebody’s Daughter, was published by Flatiron Books in June, 2020 and became an instant bestseller. Amigo the Devil is the moniker of Danny Kiranos, is a musical artist originally from Miami, FL. He is one of the foremost artists in the MurderFolk genre--a type of folk music whose lyrics center on dark themes, including infamous crimes and serial killers. His 2018 debut, Everything Is Fine, expanded his already significant cult following. In April of 2021, he released his second album, Born Against, which showcases a broadening of his thematic range and the ways his music has been influenced by artists such as Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, and Fiona Apple.
